Oakhurst Manufactured Home Community is a wooded community located south of State Road 136 at 3950 North 1000 East in Brownsburg, IN on the east edge of Hendricks County. The children of our residents attend the popular Brownsburg schools. Oakhurst is conveniently located to the west side of Indianapolis, as well as Brownsburg, Clermont and Avon with the new Ronald Reagan Freeway scheduled to be completed just west of the community.

Home Ownership Value Proposition

OUR COMPANY exists to provide home ownership alternatives for families and individuals who want to enjoy the American dream of owning their own home at a cost that is a fraction of what a site built home costs. We strive to provide nice homes in well maintained, safe communities, where new residents must qualify for residency, meeting our HGH community standards. While we have many home ownership programs, many families choose our New Beginnings Lease to Own Program which enables us to reward the residents with total home ownership in 8 to 12 years on any home in our community. Many of our homes have built in island kitchens, curios, garden tubs, cathedral ceilings and extra cost options that are steeply discounted on our Lease to Own program.

All of the homes that we sell are built to the HUD Code and installed by experience licensed Manufactured Home Installers who adhere to the State Code and the manufacture's recommendations for a safe and secure installation. At the end of the day, the value received for the housing dollars spent by our residents is an extraordinary bargain compared to the alternatives.

Housing Options:

New Beginnings Home Ownership Option

Oakhurst's most popular housing option for prospective new home owners is the New Beginnings Lease to Own Program. This is our in house financing solution for your manufactured home purchase. Our New Beginnings LTO Program is available on many of our remodeled existing homes and all of our new homes that are offered for sale by our Oakhurst sales staff. This unique program offers the best features of renting and buying and enables our residents to own their own home in 8 to 10 years at affordable payments that are interest free (that's right, 0% interest) and include a generous discount from the market value of the home for an unbeatable purchase price on a new or existing home. At the end of the payment term, the home owner can complete the purchase of the home with a final payment of $1 and live in the home with only lot rent payments, or the owner can move the home to a new location inside or outside of our community if they desire.

Twelve Month Rental Program Option

Oakhurst also offers a 12 month rental option on select remodeled homes in our communities. The rental program homes have the same limited warranty as the homes that are purchased under the New Beginnings Lease to Own Program. We recognize that not everyone is in a position to take advantage of our New Beginnings Lease to Own Program, so our Rental Option provides the opportunity to enjoy all of the community advantages and have the flexibility to make a move at the end of the 12 month rental term.

For those current homeowners of manufactured homes that are located outside of our Oakhurst community, we offer a unique Move-in Program for qualified homes that meet our current requirements. These requirements are based on the age and condition of your home. We also offer a trade-in program for owners of older homes who would like to trade up to a home in Oakhurst and begin to enjoy the advantages that Oakhurst has to offer.
